The game started brightly for torro who were the more dominant team in the opening stages. Conor Coogan had a shop from just outside the box fiz pass the post,
With Kieran Conway and Evan bird also coming close in the opening stages.
The back Four of Torro was holding there own very well with Darren Mcgeever leadings the line along with Derek Carroll,Stewy Garry and John Fogarty the lads did not let anything buy them in the opening stages and defended exceptionally well.
The Breakthrough for torro Came a couple a minutes before the half time
Whistle when torro won a free kick outside the box.Evan Bird stood up to the plate and curled a perfectly weighted shot into the top corner of the robinstown net to give torro a 1-0 lead.
The lead for torro didn’t last long after some sloppy play on the edge of the box Robinstown intercepted and crossed a ball into the box which found there striker unmarked who headed home to make it 1-1 on the half time whistle.
The second half was a game of even chances with Robsinstown and torro going close numerous times but failing to convert.
Conor Cullen was keeping Robinstown at bay and made an outstanding save from a Robinstown freekick to tip it over the bar.
The game did not end well for torro with Gavin Shankey and Stewy Garry seen midway though the second half which left torro down to 9men.
Torro done very well to keep the game at 1-1 and not let robinstown captilize on there advantage.
However they managed to hold
Out for the draw away from Home given the circumstances the game ended in they done well to come away with the point.
