Torro Utd 2011 boys made the short hop to Drogheda to take on local side Drogheda Town FC in the SFAI National Trophy Round 2 game.
In what was a great game and a tight encounter it was the only goal of the game scored by Jack Keane in the 13th minute that sealed the victory.
Torro Utd showed that they have the steel, grit and determination to defend and hold onto a minimum lead. Torro Utd probably had the best of the chances in the first half, while Drogheda Town came strong in the 2nd half with some close chances to equalise.
A great squad performance puts us into the hat for Round 3 and last 8 in the North Leinster Section.
